Pros

Seemingly above average pay and benefits

Cons

I went through the interview process with this company and pulled out before the onsite stage. Everybody I met from this company gives me the creeps. First one was the recruiter, he was rude on the phone and kept pressing about my salary expectations even after I said I'd like to meet the team first. It was very unprofessional and honestly strange, I've never had a company do this to me; and then I talked to the hiring manager, this guy seemed entirely obsessed with velocity and doesn't know anything else. I asked him about their eng design process before impl, he said they don't do design anymore and just use ChatGPT to code a "MVP" and that's their design?.... wtf does that even mean... then he was visibly STUNNED and paused for a good 10s when I asked what he considered important when it comes to talent retention. You can tell he's never thought about that before. Terrible, terrible leadership, full of red flags. I pulled out immediately after that. This company's culture seems extremely toxic and dysfunctional. Would absolutely avoid.

Pros

Really enjoying my time here so far. Everyone is super friendly and there's basically zero tech bro energy which is a huge plus coming from my last company. WFH is an awesome perk and people genuinely respect work life balance. The team is also very AI forward - they encourage developers to learn AI workflows and actually give us dedicated time to do it. The culture and the people make it a great place to work.

Cons

If you don't enjoy being in a fully remote/WFH environment, this might not be the best fit for you. Also, most of the devs are senior engineers or above, so if you're early in your career there's not a ton of other juniors around you.

Pros

1) Being remote FT is an absolute perk, there are no plans to transition to hybrid or in-office as offices have closed or been consolidated 2) Overall, the company pays well

Cons

1) Marketing leadership. Marketing has lacked true leadership for the past 4 years. There are various reasons for this situation, some of which were the product of extensive company wide reorganization and the company not prioritizing marketing. During that time amazing team members stepped up to get the work done, and for that I thank them. Currently, the team leads play favoritism; putting the chosen in a place of growth with others set out to fail. Transparency is a pipedream, a select few leads make all decisions until their plates are too full then hand off to others to bring through execution, usually lacking information or strong understanding of resources, budgets, roadblocks or bandwidth; ultimately setting them up for failure. 2) HRBP. The marketing HRBP is more interested in being liked by dept leadership than being a HR voice for the organization or there to support employees. This team member is more likely to tell you to leave or blame a “cultural fit” than to hear employee concerns 3) Data practices. If you have to ask, you know there is something wrong. 4) Growth. As mentioned with #2, those who are selected are put in positions of growth and promotion. If you are not a chosen one, be prepared to see others around you grow and your contributions never acknowledged. 5) Take a look or the org’s “Our Team” leadership, the importance of diversity speaks volumes. 6) Head to the career’s page, “Our Values” are laughable
