Pros
I work with an amazing group of people who care about the the mission and the women. I’m a long time employee who works directly with the survivors in all areas of programming. I work here because I am able to make a difference and know it’s not for everyone however, anyone who cannot appreciate structure, lack the knowledge and understanding of how the traumatic experience of human trafficking plays out then it’s not a good fit for LifeWay. The leadership is most empowering because you will always get the support you need. The Executive Director is incredibly strong and courageous, intelligent and inspiring to say the least. LifeWay is located on a beautiful campus and offers a unique opportunity to anyone who is interested in helping and learning about the plight of others. If you’re miserable and untalented you’ll not like it here. If you’re grounded, intelligent and willing to help others you will thrive. I’ve been working at LifeWay for years and longer than most, my experience and knowledge enables me to thrive. I know most of the people who left and I can say they left because they were either untalented or nasty and didn’t want to work.
Cons
Need diversity in age and some of the old people are stuck in their ways making it difficult to grow.
