Pros

The staff remain reasonably upbeat despite the toxic environment and clueless management who aren't supportive and have limited business acumen.

Cons

I could write a thesis on this but... - It's not one of Asia’s leading and fastest growing media & events companies - Disorganised - Systems and IT need an upgrade - company shares 1 phone number and has Office 2007, can't set an out of office/work remotely - Claim to be for high achievers/'Lighthouse People' but in fact they mostly hire recent (bright) grads, work them tirelessly and take advantage of their lack of experience and worth ethic. If you question odd decisions, you'll be ignored until you stop. - CEO Justin has left, leaving a senior management team that doesn't know what it's doing - rather than open door policy, it's a revolving door - such high turnover - Lack of integrity running awards - Office is generally dirty, especially toilets/pantry - Improper decisions made around staff travel/accommodation In short, it's not the exciting and forward-thinking place you're led to believe it is and was a demotivating place to work - there are better employers out there so go find them and work somewhere inspiring with managers who will have your back and support your career development!

Thank you for your comment. Your are right that some people find the Lighthouse culture difficult to adjust to. We work hard, we play hard, we strongly believe in teamwork and individual accountability and we work hard to recognise and reward high achievers who consistently hit their targets. High performers love the Lighthouse company culture but isn't for everyone. Cheers, Justin Randles.

Pros

- Colleagues are friendly and welcoming. - working hours varies (possible compensation) and agreeable with managers

Cons

- micromanagement: on a high-side, often being having to feel doubtful of your own work skills at the start - expectation based on work skills: make sure to be prepared to be reverted in a sarcastic manner, expected to be readily able to "fly" as soon as you step foot into the company - career progression: most managers have been there for more than a decade, so if you're considering to climb the ladder, you may wish to reconsider - it's possible but it would take more effort to do so. - administration: still as old school. Submission of claims are still by paper, chop, sign (approval) method.
