Pros

Remote work policy, health insurance

Cons

When I joined the company four years ago under Kevin Smith’s leadership, it was truly a great place to work — collaborative, visionary, and employee-focused. Unfortunately, after the acquisition by BP, the culture and direction changed dramatically. Despite initial promises of global growth and innovation, the reality has been disappointing. Many of the most talented employees were laid off, and others have been leaving voluntarily at a rate of two to three people per week. The current leadership environment is dominated by favoritism rather than merit, and both the COO and her leadership team lack the skills and integrity needed to guide the company effectively. Their approach has created an atmosphere of mistrust and hypocrisy, eroding what once made the organization special. Now, with rumors that BP seeking to sell 50% of the company, it feels like the next chapter will bring even more instability. It’s a sad example of how strong leadership and culture can be dismantled through poor management decisions and misplaced priorities.
