Pros

Hour lunch break, off weekends.

Cons

Upon starting at this company you are made to believe that you are valued and even placed on a fast track for career growth as long as you perform at or above their expectations. However, when you start to ask questions in regard to their business model to gain a better understanding of how their "asset based 3PL" system works, people get extremely frustrated and uncomfortable as they only want you to blindly regurgitate their script. If you ask where they keep their "Assets", you will be shown a poster from a photoshoot rather than given a location of where the trucks dock. The inside sales position is basically a cold calling job in which you are expected to spend the day scrolling through google maps looking for warehouses to call to pitch the company. Little to no direction, and the only instructions you are expected to follow is "make 80-100 calls" and "open/close accounts on your own because we can't babysit you." DESPITE all of that, I was going to decided to buckle down and do what was needed to advance because I know companies aren't perfect. My direct supervisor was seemingly a nice guy given that he was put under a lot of pressure to make sure his new hires performed well so it came as a complete shock to me when I was pulled into the office and let go because "someone in the higher ups (who I never met, or spoken with during my short tenure) felt that I wasn't a good fit." Nobody could provide me answers on whether or not this firing was based off of performance or anything that I could improve on, instead they just sent me packing with a handshake and shoulder shrug. I quit my last job and joined this company with the expectation and hopes of building a long term future with this company and they kicked me to the curb in over a month and half despite telling me EVERYDAY of how good of a job I was going and the progress was amazing. Its a family ran business and with an extremely high turnover rate and if you spend more than a week there, you can totally see why. Enter this job at your own risk and have a back up plan.
