- No real strategy, despite having lots of strategy meetings and retreats. Company priorities/goalposts keep changing haphazardly so it's hard to see anything through - Very sales-heavy approach, always trying to hardsell to existing customers instead of finding new opportunities or pivot - Leaders not truthful about state of things, especially finances. CEO always says "we have money in the bank" instead of laying out what the outlook/projections are - CEO doesn't seem to trust anyone and therefore will not share his plans. How can you build a company if you can't trust your team? - Attempting to build "trust" by getting everyone to work 100% in the office is ridiculous. This doesn't solve the root of the issue. - Systems are a hot mess, a lot of functions don't work and even customers have to find temporary solutions
