Pros

Birthday leave and office location

Cons

The culture is highly cliquey and can feel exclusionary. If you don’t quickly align with established groups, it’s difficult to integrate or succeed. There is little effort from colleagues or senior leadership to welcome new starters, which creates an uninviting first impression. Turnover is consistently high, and there have been numerous instances of employees being let go with little notice or clear rationale. This contributes to a culture of uncertainty where people are often more focused on job security than performance or growth. Onboarding is minimal—typically limited to basic setup—with no meaningful structure around training or support. Individuals are largely left to figure things out themselves, and there is limited proactive guidance from management. In practice: Work/life balance is poor Pay, pension, and bonus offerings are below market expectations New ideas or process improvements are rarely embraced Flexibility DOES NOT exist here. There is a strong “inner circle” dynamic, with long-tenured employees holding significant influence. This can make it difficult for new perspectives to be heard and, at times, creates resistance to change. Overall, this is not an environment that supports development, inclusion, or innovation. Candidates should approach with caution and carefully consider whether this aligns with what they are looking for.

Pros

There are some great people genuinely trying to do their best under impossible conditions. The MD is a decent IT guy. Knows how to set up a laptop and route some CAT5.

Cons

Blame culture under impossible deadlines where your customer is also the owner.
