Pros
I worked at Linktech for a year and a half, and I can honestly say it’s a great company. The training and coaching they give is world-class in my opinion, and the tools received can be used anywhere you may go in the future. I notice most of the negative reviews found online for this company are from previous disgruntled employees who have nothing better to do with their time than to stalk a company they were terminated from for sub-standard performance, attendance issues, or quit due to the simple fact they couldn’t handle any pressure at all. Regardless of what company these folks work for, it’s probably the same scenario, and nothing any employer can do will make them happy anyways.
Linktech provides online marketing services for various businesses across the country. I haven’t worked for them for some time but I worked for the company long enough to feel my .02 cents is valid, since most of the people complaining have only spoken out when they had negative feelings toward this (and probably other) companies, but never seem to speak out when there is/was a positive experience.
Every company has its flaws, and Linktech isn’t without theirs, but having worked in different types of industries in the past (mostly professional/real estate related) I can make an honest review of this company and I think squash many of the common misconceptions placed online.
The product they sell works for thousands of people, and its possible that it may not have worked for others, it depends on many dynamic factors that determine whether or not any marketing services provided will work for any particular client, there is never a one-size-fits all approach. Like any marketing, especially online marketing, it takes time, and prolonged exposure matters the most. Like running an ad in the newspaper or magazine, there is no guarantee as to whether or not you’ll get leads or phone calls from anyone, and if you do there is no guarantee as to whether or not they will be qualified anyways. It would be physically impossible for any company offering marketing services of any kind to guarantee that kind of service. But one thing is certain: If you don’t market yourself, NO-ONE will see you and you WON’T have a chance. But that’s just a little bit of common sense, which some people lack these days…
There are literally hundreds of companies that perform online marketing campaigns for businesses across the US just the same as Linktech, but why is Linktech being targeted? Here’s a couple of reasons that I can think of:
1. They have the LARGEST client base! Similar to other companies with a large client pipeline, there will be complaints online too, and lots of them! The old saying goes “can’t make everyone happy” and its true. Some people will be unable to please no matter what. I found that Linktech’s number of complaints is FAR LOWER than say, Comcast or Verizon, etc considering the large client base they service and maintain.
2. They have a strict attendance policy! As most companies should. Your paycheck depends on it, and so does the production levels, so it’s a win-win for everyone.
3. They give people a second chance. Who cares if someone has a history, I myself don’t have one, but the only people I ever met who did have one at Linktech, it was for minor stuff, like a DUI, etc. And what business is it yours to pass judgment on someone else who’s trying their best?
At any rate. Yes, you may get a drama-queen of an employee who gossips and brings everyone down during break times, and yes you may have that rude inconsiderate boss, but that can (and will) happen anywhere you work. Stay long enough at any company and it’s bound to show its ugly face, it’s absolutely not limited to Linktech., but IT IS ultimately up to YOU to decide whether or not it will affect you, your day, your workplace performance and/or the rest of your life and get caught up in it. Mental strength is an asset, and it comes in great handiness when working anywhere. – J. Williams
