Pros
Great people, including the owner, small company atmosphere and strong community within the teams. Communication is direct and clear. Strong support from management to drive technological innovation.
Cons
Financially unstable. Twice, I had to leave the company and move across the state because they couldn't afford to pay me even a very sub-market wage anymore. It is boom or bust. When it's booming, the owner wants a lot, quickly, at a lot of personal cost to his engineers. When it's bust, pink slips are unceremoniously handed out and you get to try to find a new job with zero days notice. My first round with Lite-Check, I made $48k and just couldn't afford to pay my bills anymore. Had to leave. Second time, I was paid $66k, but got laid off after a little over a year. As soon as I crossed over the mountains from Spokane, I did basically the same job for 3x the money, on both occasions.
