Pros

The company is structured around managers who have very little experience outside of what they have experienced thru Litigation. When employed there I brought over two years of all around investigative experience not just surveillance, yet I was treated like it was my first day on the job. Promotions? Hmm, if your a manager favorite, best thing is the espense checks every month.

Cons

Be prepared to drive all over creation, and back and be agressive! Conducting surveillance which ultimately leads to you getting burned or maybe a punch in the face, as I heard several people get chased etc. Hmm, not good. Get some experience and move on from this place, they tell you you will be doin "investigations"...nope just surveillance day in and day out, and if no video is obtained prepare to be written up if happens more than twice, of which you have no control.

Pros

It was fun and challenging.

Cons

Sometimes I was a little too busy, but it balanced out when things were slow.

Pros

-opportunity to do a lot of traveling -possibility for growth (to training supervisor..then regional) -work independently -opportunity to go to court (interesting to be involved) -nice supervisors/co workers -reimbursed monthly for gas/expenses/phone -medical dental & eye benefits

Cons

-low pay for a job requiring an undergraduate degree -travel & administrative time is half your professional rate -do not have a weekly schedule. You are given your assignment for tomorrow at 5pm today -only contact with supervisors/co workers is via phone, text, and email -hard to have a life. Can't make plans because you can be on site, have your subject be active for 8+ hrs and you can't leave until your subject goes home. -have to deal with police (ie neighbors call cops because your sitting in your car for many hours) -early mornings (waking up at 4am/5am very common) -a lot of down time (doing nothing, just sitting there waiting for your subject to do something) -start up costs (250+). You are required to purchase a video camera, software for your computer to capture video, and eventually covert camera(s). You are not reimbursed for this. Other expenses like getting your car windows tinted are not reimbursed either.
