Pros
All lesson plans are written and follow the same routine, the TA will help to prepare every lesson, the cleaners are always great, there are always resources available
Cons
They want to lead in teaching English but regularly employ people who speak broken English and the lesson plans are written by non-native English speakers. As a person who didn't speak Cantonese, I was often left out of conversations and excluded from activities. Management were rarely seen and when they were, hardly engaged with staff and usually only engaged with Cantonese speakers. There was no opportunities for career development at all.
