Pros
- Get paid to see concerts! - Flexible with your schedule (obviously they can't move concert times, but they seem chill if you can't make it by the start time/gonna be late/can't work every single show) - Sometimes they feed you for free - Free water always - Discounts on certain concessions - Opportunity for some growth in the company - Watch the magic on stage, or the excitement off stage from the fans - Decent pay, and you can get paid to travel to cover other venues - Seem to genuinely appreciate their employees, for the most part
Cons
- Sometimes you don't get a break unless you flag down a supervisor and hope they can cover you running to the bathroom - No discounts on concert tickets - If you're not stationed near the stage area, you can only hear the concert.. not watch it - Absolutely no pictures allowed, even though the people there at the concert get to take pictures (obviously) so.. I just don't personally see the big deal if it doesn't interfere with your work but okay.. - Drunk/high people (the guests/fans) - You might not like some of the music - You have to actively seek growth opportunities, they're not going to advertise to you open positions, especially positions not at your home venue - They do seem to appreciate their employees, but they could definitely stand to respect/appreciate those who have been with them for YEARS - some have been working for them for a literal decade, making the same amount as someone freshly hired or maybe a dollar or two more... that doesn't seem right.
