Pros
Some great employees who know the market inside and out, most staff are really motivating and enthusiastic people
Cons
People aren’t given the time, budget, capacity or approval to execute their work and are constantly shut down by directors / CEO trying to have control over every aspect of the business. They show no trust at all to their employees, and there have been a few instances of management talking down to employees in the office in front of other staff, almost enforcing a bullying culture among seniors to employees. Constant turnover of staff, you’d be very lucky to last a year especially if you’re hired in a senior position. No time for staff well-being or workload management, just an unbelievable amount of pressure on making money and getting applications through the door across all teams which feeds into a blaming culture as no one wants to be in the firing line. So if you’re looking for a role that will progress your career, unfortunately all you’ll get out of it is poor mental health and constant burnout. They try to look like they care about employees by asking for regular feedback but it’s never implemented or listened to. CEO hires consultants & directors who feed him what he wants to hear but they never deliver, causing a constant stream of redundancies across the business which are handled awfully - staff being let go instantly without an opportunity to even say goodbye to their colleagues or team. They shout about values, being “straight forward” and “better together” but those values were never delivered. Extremely toxic environment that I wouldn’t wish on anybody.
