Really great people to work with. Management listens to you, and makes you feel like your input is needed. The tasks given to engineers are challenging and are things that haven't been done before so it's very interesting. Good pay for an internship.

I've been working here for over a year and I can't find anything terrible about the place.

Jet Blue flight benefits (which are now gone since the sale to Thales.) Decent 401k match by local standards, but 5 year vesting is a little harsh. Good location for the Melbourne area.

LiveTV has a very strange internal organization for projects and product development. The ends up created a very stovepiped environment. Parties involved with one generation Coupled with some poor software managers this leads to a very comprised development process and low quality products. LiveTV management is very cliquish. When I started at LiveTV they were VERY proud of the 95% employee retention rate. Now that rate is nowhere near the 90% level. LiveTV chews through software engineers like popcorn - just a cog in the wheel. Lousy "open concept" seating even for senior engineering staff. Only managers merit an office. Headphones become very important.
