Pros
I was able to get general knowledge about the world of logistics in addition to designing. This internship helped me add my experience to my resume
Cons
There was a major misunderstanding when it came to what the job called for. I was hired as a UI/UX intern, but was asked to do "graphic design" for brochures and presentations. I figured that since I was new I wouldn't get any major projects yet so I did as I was told, however I realised that the word UI itself was used interchangeably with graphic design. When I expressed that UI was a human/computer interaction and that I would like to put those skills to use I was dismissed and told to keep working on the presentation which kept going on for 1.5 months (half of June + the entire month of July). The presentation was never used, or even considered.
There were also 5 other UX designers but we never collaborated or even discussed anything. We were told to work on the same project separately and the "best one" would be picked.
