Thank you for your feedback on the company. I'd like to take the opportunity to address the pros and cons of the company this reviewer has listed.
Pros:
Thank you for listing a pro here. While I agree that it's a great thing to have a relaxed enough atmosphere to have a Friday drink in the office, there are quite a few pros not listed. A few include casual dress every day, fun company outings, open and collaborative teams, monthly spending allowance, 401k with 4% company match, health and dental benefits, etc...
Cons:
1. I agree with your first con of lacking a concrete structure. We are a fast-paced startup that is quickly evolving as the company grows. At times, this can give the impression of disorganization. In reality, putting too much structure in place too soon can inhibit company growth. Not sure when exactly you worked here but we have made great strides in the last couple months to establish more structure specifically with our CSR/Dispatch department.
2. I'm sorry if you felt this way during your time at LoadUp. However, we pride ourselves on honesty and transparency, both internally and externally. If a previous manager or supervisor instructed you to do so, then I am sincerely sorry and apologize. Our leadership team will monitor this closely over the next few months to review.
3. As with any startup, there is a high level of volatility due to the company being reliant on a relatively small pool of customers. With this comes uncertainty at times, and we've had to make tough business decisions in the past to ensure the survivability of the company. However, LoadUp is a very stable entity. We made the Inc. 500 fastest-growing companies in America list last year and are on track to make the list once again this year.
4. Also sorry to hear you were displeased with the layout of our office. This is not necessarily intentional. We strive to keep an open and collaborative floor plan while also having a need to maximize the use of our space. In doing so, I suppose the cubicles are not very large. Other departments do have more spacious work areas due to either being on the leadership team or part of a team that has not yet reached a headcount as mature as our call center. In essence, other departments seem more spacious because there is more room for the department to grow.
Once again, thank you for your feedback of the company. We certainly do not take feedback of this caliber lightly and will continue to strive to do better for all employees in the future.
