Pros
Most people I met at the LGA were happy in their roles and felt there was lots of room for moving around within the organisation to new and interesting roles. The company often offers home working contracts which opens up opportunities for people living outside of London
Cons
Unfortunately my role was not as interesting in practice as it sounded on paper. It was very admin heavy and didn't maximise the skills and experience my colleagues and I brought to the role. The main issue however was a manager who was a bully and fostered an environment were people were scared to share their ideas or speak their minds. This resulted in a very unhappy workforce and the entire team leaving over the course of 1 year, including the manager. Hopefully newcomers will have a better experience now that this manager has left
