Pros

Already as a newbie, I felt that my opinion mattered and that the management has an open ear for inputs. Additionaly, I felt that my work was valued a lot, especially compared to other companies that I have worked for. The team was international and the tasks were varied. Due to the trust from the management, I could soon work on challenging tasks. This deffinitely boosted my experience at LocalBini and helped me to develop on a personal level too.

Cons

Being alone in the office with other interns at an early stage of an internship was not optimal, but due to the growing team, this shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Pros

During my time at LocalBini I got to do many different tasks. The biggest plus about working there is that the team wants you to learn as much as possible. Therefore, there were extensive meetings in the beginning, where we discussed what I want to learn and gain knowledge about. Also, the atmosphere and culture was truly innovative. During team meetings everyone could bring in his own perspective and I could make a change by bringing in my own ideas. Whenever I could not proceed with my project because I ran out of ideas, the team helped me by doing brain storming sessions. Furthermore, I was very happy to work with the team at LocalBini. It is a very diverse and international team coming from different academic backgrounds. We had a great time together.

Cons

LocalBini is still a startup and there are many ideas on what changes can be implemented. This can sometimes lead to a few challenges (distribution of tasks/communication/etc.). However, the management is handling very well and I am very confident that it will improve.

Pros

Good standard startup atmosphere- young team, flexible.

Cons

$ was everything. When the company was running out $$ two years ago, my manager told me that they're taking away the office in Paris and I could just work from home and attend meetings via skype when needed. If I REALLY liked and that office, I could be a tour guide myself, and the $ I earn can be paid as office rent.
