Pros

The team. Literally nothing else.

Cons

Micromanagement is a big part of the culture, DAILY stand up where you have to say what you are doing for the day and not in a supportive way but just to check a box for leadership bc of the micromanagement, no autonomy for employees, decisions made top down which slows things down, teams constantly second guessed even when they are the experts, priorities changing a lot and not always clear, favoritism affecting how people are treated, no safety to push back or speak up, morale taking a hit because of leadership, and turnover that should really be a wake up call, but truly they will never look in the mirror and realize it isn't a people problem, its a leader problem. Seriously read the most recent 1 star reviews. They speak the truth.

Pros

Joining a new company is never easy. There is a lot to learn and a lot of new people to build relationships with. At Localize it felt easy. From day one the culture shines through across the entire company. Everyone from senior management on down will go out of their way to help you. It doesn't matter what your role is. There is a culture of collaboration here that I have never seen in my career. Everyone puts the customer first and is willing to put in face time with them on calls. I've read other reviews on Glassdoor and am very confused by some of the comments. The senior management here cares about every individual working at the company. They are involved, passionate, and carry the weight of wanting to create a lasting business that often gets overlooked. The benefits are also exceptional for a company of our size. The health, vision, dental premiums are excellent. We offer a 401k with a 4% match, home internet is paid for, and we get to have the entire company meet up in person with nice accommodations and great food every year. It's so refreshing to be a part of an organization that cares about improving results while taking care of it's employees at the same time.

Cons

We are a small team and work quickly. Things change on the fly and if you are not comfortable embracing change and testing new things you will likely feel stressed out. We are a small team. Career growth is more about what you are able to build and achieve than it is about titles.

Pros

The strongest aspect of this company is the people. I had the opportunity to work alongside incredibly intelligent, capable, and supportive coworkers who consistently went above and beyond despite challenging circumstances.

Cons

• Excessive executive micromanagement • Culture of distrust • No pricing adaptability • Weak sales performance • High employee turnover • Low morale environment
