Pros

I do not have pros to report.

Cons

EBA is a fancy title for what Lockton really expects you to do in support of their executives. As an EBA , rather than a professional, you will be seen as an office girl reminiscent of an episode of MadMen. Aside from the duties listed on the job description, you will be expected to cater to any/all executive's personal needs and available to them 24/7 (for "emergencies"). For some executives, their families were also catered to. It is seen as part of the job. I accepted the job based on a job description that did not mention personal requests at all. Which clarifies how the salary was pitched: They offered a base salary however, I was to receive 5K less upon hiring. The remainder of the salary offered would come only IF my year end review was "positive". Based on what? Keeping my seven executives happy AND their families??? As other reviews mentioned, Lockton is a private company which has an "old boys", clicquey culture. A wall of liquor bottles in their lunch / "cafe bar" area is representative of the frequent client social gatherings they host. Another former review I agree with is the lack of diversity. When I expressed concern over the personal support I would be responsible for, I was terminated after one month with only 2 weeks salary as a severence. Apparently, I was not a "good fit" for Lockton. When I insisted for details of their dissatisfaction, the HR rep told me my manager had stated we were in a "screaming match" which was an absolute lie. The EBA job description now lists "some/occasional" personal requests but don't believe it. For all the reasons stated, run, don't walk.

Pros

A true “team effort” environment. I think it really depends on who your team lead is and the dynamic of the group you work with. You will get a ton of experience fine tuning skills as they provide constant trainings and resources to learn. Decent pay when compared to competitor companies and great 401k plan. Plenty of company and marketing events. Hybrid work is great. Again to preface, who you work with can make or break the atmosphere, but everyone I’ve met has been extremely nice and willing to help. Opportunities to grow within the company.

Cons

Health benefits could be better. Company is really pushing new business and there can be a lot of work and last minute fires to put out that can feel daunting. There have been quite a few times I’ve worked late into the night to get things wrapped up. You need to self organize or things can easily fall through the cracks very quickly. A lot of meetings that can take up a majority of your day - leaving less time to get actual work done.
