Pros

Good salary, work life balance but only these enough to work for a company.

Cons

Management does not support everyone. If you are good to management and seniors then they will support you. You should listen to them whether they are right or wrong. There is state and language based politics. No value for your and your efforts for company.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience (though with malacious intention). You are absolutely right. Management does not support everyone. Management supports those who has merit and great attitude. Sorry to say that unfortunately you missed on one of these. Most likely it is attitude as our interview process is rigorus and we take care of merit during interviews. Unfortunately it is very hard to get to know the attitude of the person in short period of time. Good Luck to you anyways!

Pros

- fair compensation with opportunity to get raises - a TON of trust from the CTO as to handling tasks - freedom to suggest ideas, implement new methods, and flexible hours - CTO was super understanding of my school schedule and was very open to working around it - responsibilities were actually substantive and helped me learn more than I could have working 3 years at entry level somewhere else

Cons

- honestly, there is nothing bad I can say. the company is small so if that's not the environment you want then it's not for you, but to me, it was a chance to get focused attention and serious responsibilities that actually make a difference in how the company is run - you need to have initiative and independence (which is hard for some people but was a great fit for me)
