Pros
You are basically a free agent with very few restrictions on your scheduling of appointments / leads... The back up (in house people are usually competent. The draw (salary) is not a lot but is adequate.
Cons
The biggest detriment to the job is being a commissioned sales associate with all of the problems that can arise from that. Even with the draw, there are seasonal gaps in compensation.
