Job role was not as advertised or as described in interview Expected to do a different role with no training No support/guidance provided for graduates Micromanagement from senior management Often spoken down to by senior management Poor time management from senior management that affected other employees Change in structure of teams not adequately communicated which lead to friction in the office Expected to work late/ travel outside of working hours without the opportunity of claiming overtime or taking the hours in liu High staff turn over ‘Younger’ and ‘older’ staff treated differently (different rules for different age groups) Senior management spoke in derogatory way and berated several employees in front of others in the office. Little to no training provided. Requested training relevant to job role was refused Timesheets analysed to the minute with no trust in employees No benefits, just what they have to provide by law (even making you claim the majority of the 45p per business mile through a self assessment) Made to feel like you weren’t worth your salary Office too small for purpose, one small meeting room with very thin walls/ no privacy Senior management weren’t interested in ideas from employees regarding work opportunities and growing/developing the business
