Pros
Not using your personal vehicle
Cons
You’ll be expected to do jobs for free. Other techs will schedule “callbacks” on days they know they’re off. Which results in managers putting them on you to do for free. I was lied to from the jump on the pay. Worked weeks for $18 but company offers $20 for any and everyone else that has been hired since. Commission sounds great and good on paper but after cancellations, free service call backs(that are not yours) and driving 3+ hrs out of the day you’re lucky to clear $120 (after taxes) The scheduling is a mess and completely disorganized! You’ll be expected to do a job at 8 in one city/town and at another by 9 that’s 40min drive then back to where you originally started! They’ll add more jobs in random locations throughout the day as well. When you pick up time by actually organizing the jobs and ride times you get surprised with jobs that are 30-45min rides from your current location. Also they play favorites. You can expect to be off anywhere between 2&5 but just know that the less stops you have the less money you’ll make and you’re only getting a decent amount of stops when it’s convenient for them.
