The staff was typically a great bunch to work with. A creative bunch for sure and we needed to be with what we did on a daily basis. Great training ground. Not a typical place to work with the freedom we had to get the job done. Most were willing to go the extra distance. Very diverse client base. Unique and interesting projects typically. Powertrain and vehicle work was done at the facility.
Cons
Oh, let me count the ways! Never any real investment was made to the business. What Lotus purchased 15 years ago is what is still there. Even long time customers made note of this. We always got the job done but, many times at an unacceptable cost to the staff and equipment.
Wrong people in some management/supervisory positions cost time and money over and over and poor employee relationships. At times, a hostile working environment caused by managers/supervisors.
Everything was down to "cost" and not "benefit" to the company/customers. This included basic items.
