Pros

Linda and Rich Lovering know and care about their employees. Their is mutual respect which many times is difficult to find in the automobile business. I have worked for Lovering Volvo since they opened. My working relationship with Rich Lovering dates back to 1988. Unfortunately in many cases, review sites contain only negative feedback which is very unfair. It is very important to work at a company where you feel appreciated and recognized for hard work. This is the feeling I experience every day working at Lovering Volvo.

Cons

At times, the policies are very black and white. It would be helpful to make some decisions based on the employee and not the employee handbook.

Pros

A company that truly cares about their employees. There is a good mix of new and longstanding management that is really looking to improve the culture. It is definitely a place where you are expected to work hard but those that do are rewarded. Most managers seem to be approachable. Note to the below review with comments about management - maybe you weren't the best fit for the company? You can hear the bitterness in your words...Being someone who has worked at other companies, I can tell you this place is surely not for everyone. It's sad to see someone talk badly about the Lovering family.. It would be nice to see the owners more but overall they are a very good family to work for.

Cons

Because there is a lot of change happening at the company, things are changing so quickly that sometimes communication falls short. Management should try to take their time implementing change especially when it affects many people in different departments There has been turnover, especially in the sales department but I think it's only to make a better team.
