Pros

Colleagues make it a fun place to work, manager is pretty chill and not micromanaging. Can possibly make good commission if you become a favourite.

Cons

The salaries are pretty low, during interviews was sold as you’d make money from day 1 which makes people accept the low salary with the promise of high commission - however this is not true as SDR’s only call old data and the new leads have no real chance of passing so making commission is not realistic which then makes getting promoted to account manager really hard which is basically a set up for failure. Not very transparent with salaries and guaranteed commission - the internal recruiter said there was barely anyone who left the job - however there was a very high staff turnover. The morale between SDR’s is quite low due to zero to peanuts commission as people come from other jobs with thousands £ commission to a job where you’ll only earn a decent commission after becoming account manager. There was a big hiring campaign only to match a need of 100 staff for funding which makes sense why people have been lied to about commission. Only people who have been there for 5+ years actually make good commission due to them given better leads.

Pros

SDR’s and AM’s are good and helped me settle in the company.

Cons

The management is run poorly. Myself and other SDR’s were told that we will be promoted to account manager but wasn’t. This has a huge impact on our earnings as we are capped for commission due to poor management from the sales managers. I got told in the boardroom that I will be promoted next quarter but now found out it was all a trick from the sales managers. They keep hiring SDR’s but we are all stuck in the same position as sales managers are only hiring many SDR’s to get investment and I have been told that once they get investment they will start sacking SDR’s which is very unfair. Another thing I have noticed is that there is favouritism within the company. Sales managers favour employees they like and hence promote them even if they didn’t meet targets. Therefore too much nepotism in the company.
