Pros

Benefit package offered to Regular Part Time employees. Employee discount is better than some companies.

Cons

At my store: The "Good Ole Boy" policy is alive and going strong! If you are not a personal friend with the 'HR" you are at bottom of the heap. Full time Sales Associates are given perfered treatment in scheduling, fix work schedules and time off requests. CSA's are treated as second class, with part time CSA's even lower. The attitude is that Sales associates are not required to re-stock returns, and in the case of a Fashion/rough sections, they do not have to work the rough sections. Training to bring CSA's up to speed on product knowledge, SOS, M2O, details and installed sales is seriously lacking. There is not enough employees on the floor. The store's number one complaint from customers is lack of customer service. Time and time again we watch as customers walk out of the store - frustrated by the lack of customer service. There is a serious lack of communication between all levels of management and management and employees. The in store computer system is seriously outdated and SLOW! (my old '386') was faster!

Pros

Remote, great starting pay for entry level remote. Team environment was the best part of the experience.

Cons

Very limited to no advancement opportunities with pay increases that don't even match cost of living increases. No HR support and the culture reflects that... not a company that has any flexibility in the way employees are handled when they make a mistake it stacks and is not removes for a year. If you have three mistakes even if they are in totally different areas they will terminate even tenured employees with otherwise perfect records. Not a way to keep good employees.
