Pros

Secure Job, some nice people

Cons

Cliquey, very judgy, promotions and raises refused if you are not "in" with certain groups. Do not train you as they say they would, instead you are left to learn yourself or sink.

Pros

Good amount of annual leave, Remote(For some people) / hybrid working, Yearly profit share bonus ( but doesn't make up for bad salary)

Cons

Extremely poor pay , well below industry standard when compared to other companies in England outside of London. Lucid has always paid poorly , but it seems to getting worse each year. morale at the company is extremely low, many people not enjoying the projects they are on . and feeling really under appreciated. Either management don't realize how bad morale is , or they just don't care. People on Co-dev projects are often over worked and treated poorly, Lucid do nothing to help with this. Many people are becoming burnt out. It seems lucid no longer care about employee's health and well being. Offices are quite bad , with concerns not taken seriously , there was a big improvement with opening of a new office , but still i would say it is not up to standard.

Pros

A lot of brilliant people working here Good benefits Good chance to learn new things, encouraged by management and learning weeks. Big effort on DEI and socials. Good work life balance and are considerate around mental wellbeing. Most of the directors are very nice people Few different projects to work on. Managed to stay very stable during the vicious downturn in the industry. Flexitime and remote/hybrid work options

Cons

Career progression seems opaque - unclear how to progress with reviews not really being acted upon. Morale feels lower recently. Done well with diversity, inclusivity of all not so much. Pretty cliquey. Venting can turn to gossip and judgment which helps no one and interferes with getting the work done.
