Pros
Amazing office team at the two official locations in Germany
Cons
I must say, my last job was an absolute nightmare, a masterclass in corporate dysfunction and misery. It was a place where ambition went to die and where the phrase "work-life balance" was nothing more than a cruel joke. First and foremost, the management at my last job was a textbook example of incompetence. They were like a group of blindfolded monkeys trying to operate heavy machinery. Decisions were made with all the thoughtfulness of a coin toss, and the complete lack of leadership was palpable. It was a case study in how not to run a company. The company culture was toxic to its core. It was a place where backstabbing and bullying were not just tolerated but actively encouraged. The Sales-team was more interested in undermining each other than working together towards a common goal. It was a dog-eat-dog world, and I felt like a piece of kibble. The workload was beyond unreasonable. I was expected to do the work of three people, often working late into the night and on weekends just to keep up. The constant pressure and unrealistic expectations took a toll on my physical and mental health. I felt like a hamster on a never-ending wheel, running faster and faster but getting nowhere. And let's not forget the pay. My last job paid me peanuts for the amount of work and stress I had to endure. It was an insult to my skills and experience, and it made me question why I was even bothering to show up every day. In summary, my last job was a soul-sucking, morale-crushing, and utterly dysfunctional nightmare. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy, and I'm thrilled to have escaped that hellscape. If you value your sanity and self-worth, run far, far away from any opportunity with that company.
