Lumentum was once JDSU so you have tons of technical gurus in optoelectronics industry who know what they are doing and this is a great great place to accumulate your technical experiences if you want to work in the industry.
Cons
A regular hardware company, which means the salary is not competitive vs other Silicon Valley companies. This is extremely hard, considering where you are actually living in (sky high housing price).
