Lunavi Response
4yThe feedback provided from current and former employees is always valuable and drives our community forward. We agree that there is a lot of development opportunities at Lunavi and that is something we are very proud to offer as an organization. The helpdesk is (without argument) one of the most challenging positions in the company. The individuals in this position have tremendous tech skills coupled with their amazing customer service makes them have the largest impact on the organization. We take the accusation that this is not a safe space for all very seriously and have as an organization made that our top priority. We would challenge this review as this organization is diverse and we accept people from all backgrounds.
The management is very new in this department and is growing every day. We grow leaders because that is the very thing that makes a great one. Someone who is always growing, learning, and evolving. This department also works in shifts and PTO is not difficult but rather planned as much as possible so coverage is available. The former employee who wrote this review was able to take well over 100 hours in the year they worked with us. We offer a very flexible environment and management ensures that every day.
We develop our employees in this department and give them every opportunity to grow. With that growth and development, they are able to move to other opportunities that their skills would not have allowed before working with us. A good majority of people in this department have moved into our systems administrator roles and even into engineering roles. This former employee was able to do just that. We also celebrate an encourage career growth even if it is not at Lunavi. The most beautiful thing about the helpdesk ( at Lunavi) is it prepares employees for the more highly skilled tech roles even outside of Lunavi.
Some background on the “spammed with virtual events”. The coffee chats ( Just Brew It) were created during the height of the pandemic, when we were all in quarantined. We knew as a community that each of us needed connection and a safe space. Coffee Chats provided just that. Growing out of that ( and the pandemic) was a remote environment. More than 90% of our employees work from home and we needed to continue growing connections. One of the many ways we do that is offering remote gathering for all of us to connect. We have seen plenty of helpdesk individuals come to these events. We are sad to hear this former employee was unable.
We want to close with Lunavi is truly an amazing place to work and this former employee expressing their experience allows us to improve our community.
