Pros

Other agents and company events.

Cons

Commission Spilt, Escrow Fees, E and O insurance, technology fees, and mentorship fees. You also get charged over 1,000 bucks if you leave before the first year. A lot of agents who are closing deals are forced to take another job if Lyon won't readjust their commission split or fees. Management is horrible and inappropriate. If you leave they will delete your email and all other important information from your transactions. They will steal your database and market to them with another agent. They will charge you for not participating in events so they can force you to go even though legally you aren't an employee. Also, most people in the Sacramento region love to joke about the infamous former CEO who just got sent back to prison.

Pros

I have held a few different positions during my time at Lyon. Each position I have held, I have been around a great, collaborative, proactive and responsible team. Management and uppers have always been kind, conversational and have gone above and beyond for their employees to make sure they are supported. Great training was provided and the company encouraged growth in the position and ownership. I knew I was able to make decisions and find necessary information. The real estate agents are fun to be around and there is always something to do.

Cons

Nothing I can think of.

Pros

Lyon is a very close-knit company where everyone knows each other by their first name. The staff is super friendly and the agents truly appreciate the help and tools that we have. Lyon is great company to work for if you enjoy a family-like work environment.

Cons

Marketing Coordinators are expected to drive to the different offices they cover throughout the week. The drive is rough when there is no discussion about changing of offices if one locations fits another Marketing Coordinator better. There's very little growth in the Marketing position and it's hard to level up in your career.
