Pros
Bagels on Wednesdays - if you don't mind paying for them yourself. Friendly co-workers.
Cons
Lack of transparency. Layoffs in the name of "restructuring" a fairly regular occurrence. Good work and loyalty not rewarded (unless you consider $25 peer-to-peer recognition award or a 1% annual raise a sufficient reward). But its great if you're on the executive team because even while the company continues to bid RFPs so low that it cannot make revenue goals, you can rest assured that your oversized bonus will be in tact after handing out a few pink slips. Complete cronyism at the top, your typical, misogynistic, good old boys network. And did I mention the expensive health insurance? Expect your cost to either go up or the benefits to go down every year, and don't expect a flat copay for doctors visits on your PPO, because it doesn't exist.
