-Culture of MBF comes off as conservative/traditional which is apparent from your first orientation. -Essentially no room for non-career nannies. Really don’t even bother applying if you have a non-conventional childcare history (e.g. au pair, teacher, contract babysitter, daycare employee, etc). - You have to be ready to hold your own boundaries as a nanny, which can be difficult if you’re not a very assertive person. MBF tends to side with their clients > nannies. -Lots of passive aggressive/roundabout communication from both nanny families & the agency.
