MD24 House Call

Is this your company?

Unethical, disorganized, just awful - Business Development MD24 House Call Employee Review

Pros

The business concept is a good one, as evidenced by the fact that there's more and more competition in the industry.

Cons

Working st MD24 was one of the worst experiences I have had. They have little trust or respect for their employees, which is a reflection of the way the company is run. They lay off American employees and fill the positions overseas or with candidates brought over on a temporary visa (who they then pay a fraction of what a standard American salary would be for a similar role). There are very real quality issues due to the lack of stability and structure within the organization. The cultural differences within staff contribute to a hostile work environment. They expect employees to work like slaves for very little financial or moral compensation. The company is a shell of what it was even just a year ago, as their reputation worsens within the community.

Pros

Starting working here makes me really comfortable because the place is very accessible and the environment is not crowded.

Cons

So far I don't have any negative thoughts working here.

Pros

I've been with the company for more than a year and still keep the mentality of continuous learning and improving myself, some key points that I want to highlight 1. Career Opportunities: MD24 has gone through the process of standardize process, so even the performance is based on metrics and standards that manager put in to the Key Performance Index (submit quarterly to board of management) and communicate the expectation to team. If staffs perform 80% of KPI, that's okay, but if they willing to learn and take on challenges, as manager myself, I do promote within my team to the right talent. 2. Culture& values: the company itself is a unique environment with diverse workforce. Things that I learn from my doctorate degree right now regard globalization and international business are totally applicable to the business model. We celebrate different holidays across the board as well as share sympathy to fellow colleagues when their country got hit by a natural disaster. And I'm proud that behind the scene for our US board certified clinicians on the field are the strong and diverse team of operation internationally to ensure the quality for patient care. 3. Compensation and benefit are okay for the standard cost of living in Arizona. 4. Senior Management: open door policies, managers always available for personal career development discussion on how one can contribute or step up initiative.

Cons

Constant changes - which is reasonable due to nature of healthcare regulation is shifting rapidly.
