They own a lot of companies which allows you to get hands on, on a lot technologies.

The Head of IT is horrible. His goal of unifying 48 companies under one IT company is to be applauded, but anyone can tell you that you have to do a lot of work to get everything working just right. They chose not to do that work, taking 48 ticketing cues and combining them without the unique understanding of what each separate company needs is moronic, as result they've lost IT employees and are left scrambling trying to get things to work as knowledge employees don't transfer that knowledge.
