Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Upper management does not care about employees. They are willing to break all sorts of safety protocols to help profits. Company has zero knowledge in Gas and Oil industry No pay scale. Employees that are there 2 years or 20 years get paid the same

Pros

Cons

Heavy reliance on temp labor – A large percentage of forklift drivers come from temp services, which can lead to inconsistent performance, limited accountability, and high turnover. Inconsistent training standards – Safety and equipment training may vary depending on location or staffing shortages, creating operational and safety concerns. Unrealistic productivity expectations – Performance goals are sometimes set without fully considering dock space, freight volume, staffing levels, or equipment availability. High management turnover – Frequent leadership changes can disrupt operations, morale, and long-term planning. Leadership hired outside the industry – Some terminal managers and assistant managers may come from unrelated fields, resulting in limited freight or logistics experience.Limited long-term growth structure – Advancement pathways may not always be clearly defined, especially for operations staff. Pressure-driven environment – Emphasis on numbers over process can create a reactive workplace rather than a strategic one.
