Pros

The team work hard and are supportive, you can also get discounted flowers.

Cons

Management is run by an 'old boys club'. If you aren't a favourite, you have no chance. They have very outdated views. Going in to work is stressful. The environment is hostile, you are constantly on edge.

Pros

MM Flowers operates in a dynamic, high-volume environment that exposes you to the pressures and realities of a fast-moving supply chain business. The challenges can be valuable learning experiences for those looking to strengthen their resilience, stakeholder management, and influencing skills within a complex organisational structure.

Cons

The organisation is highly reactive, with limited strategic direction or collaboration across teams. Decision-making tends to be siloed, and cross-functional engagement is minimal, often making it difficult to implement frameworks, processes, or governance effectively. The IT function operates under tight constraints, with little autonomy to shape or influence broader business priorities. Culturally, the environment can feel unsupportive, with a tendency toward blame rather than collective problem-solving. Workloads are consistently high, expectations often extend beyond normal hours, and visibility in the office is favoured over flexibility. Many colleagues express fatigue and frustration, yet open feedback is rare due to a lack of psychological safety.
