Poor workplace culture - Marketing Coordinator MTEC SmartZone Employee Review

The Bad: The workplace culture is one of the worst in this area. I dreaded the idea of walking into the office every morning. The board members are not aware of the day-to-day operations. They do not see what the employees actually spend their time on. The organization had no problem spending thousands of dollars on a cocktail parties but had a difficult time approving a $50 budget for digital ads or posters. Change was not encouraged or accepted. It's a super inefficient state-funded organization that could do a whole lot better with the right people in place.
