      Macmillan has the most flexible hybrid environment of the Big 5 Publishers. Wellness days and no required days in office are perks.

      Experience varies widely based on imprint and leadership, with very poor management in select imprints

      Great time off, including wellness days, personal and volunteer time. Employee Resource Groups, development training programs. Good people.

      Pros

      A lot of nice people and great books to work with.

      Cons

      Very antiquated systems. Sales teams and a lot of teams are in bubbles. There are a good amount of managers and higher ups that have been there for a while (10-30 years) and they don't like change, make their teams life hell, and keep them more siloed.
