Pros
The insurance is decent quality, some co workers were awesome. The SDR manager was amazing to work with.
Cons
Where to begin here. Be warned, of the 15 sales reps that work at MacroFab, only one hits quota monthly. Everyone else hovers around zero with no hope to hit quota. Why is it so hard to close sales? For one, the quoting process is so complicated and convoluted that it can take weeks if not longer to get an uncompetitive quote to a customer. The team that handles quoting, the sales operations team, is full of some of the rudest people I have ever worked with. In my first month, the head of this team, called my personal phone to call me a slur for “stupid” for getting a small detail wrong. While upper management was fantastic, and always willing to help. The directors were a mixed bag. Mine would text, email, and call me at all hours of the night and weekend to do menial tasks “due immediately” and she would constantly condescend and insult. When I would ask for help with a project or a sale, I would get nothing but non answers and threats. I worked here for 8 months, and by the end of my tenure, I was one of the most senior sales reps with the company due to the turnstile churn-and-burn turnover rate.
