Pros: Madpow CEO Amy Cueva really has the passion to change the world and the way we look at healthcare and finances. That attitude is inspiring. Medical benefits are good as they have a high deductible plan ($4K) but they pay the $2-4K. So really you end up with a $2K deductible. Have some really interesting clients with some big names. Really big emphasis on work life balance. So its nice being able to work from home when you want or need to. The flexibility was really nice.

Unfortunately madpow has struggled to the point of multiple lay offs in the past 4 years or so. I think the reason for that is overpricing themselves. They are one of the most expensive agencies in the market. And honestly underdelivering. Nothing is very sexy or innovative about their work. Its all very mediocre. Their focus also is problematic as it is mainly on healthcare. And more and more healthcare facilities are hiring people in house to do such work. Mainly because it is a huge burden in terms of security and privacy to onboard an agency into a healthcare organization. Too much red tape at the end of the day and its hard to get past that to just get your job done.
