Typical Startup - Software Engineer Madhive Employee Review

Quickly turning into a contract engineer farm with the vast majority of engineers hired on a 3rd party basis from another company. There is little or no feedback for performance and chaotic work environment. Work sounds interesting but the day to day operations turns out to be quite boring. 'Bus factor' is off the charts with 1-2 engineers having access to a secret repo that runs all the business logic with no code reviews (to my knowledge) or testing. The company could easily go under with a single bug. Finally no 401k match and subpar benefits.
