Pros

Most coworkers are pretty good, though some departments are very clique-ish and like to spread rumors and start drama. They'll occasionally throw a party or event where they bring in food and drinks for the company. Amount of holidays is pretty good, especially around Xmas. They close the entire week between Xmas and New Years (though you do have to use 2 vacation days during this time or you don't get paid).

Cons

Ownership is terrible and unfortunately stays involved in the day-to-day business operations. They insist on being copied on EVERY email and micromanage more than any company I've ever seen. They're also the most fickle/petty people I've ever met. You can be incredible at doing your job and say one thing wrong to an owner and be on the 'bad list', which is impossible to get off of. This often means you get no raise for the rest of your time at the company. Owners are also very vindictive and literally enjoy suing people and ruining their lives. Management is mostly incompetent. None of them have formal management training which unfortunately means that many of them think the way the owners treat them is the way they should treat the people they supervise. So the toxicity trickles down unfortunately, just look at the other reviews for proof. Management also plays favorites and do not work well together. There is no department comradery and management is also involved in the company gossip. Raises are pretty nonexistent at this point. They gave everyone a flat 1.1% raise last year, regardless of performance. & while doing so, the owners literally got up in front of the entire company and said "if you don't like it, the door is right there. Leave and don't come back". When raises were a thing, it still didn't matter what your performance entailed. Your raises were decided by the owners before your manager completed your review. The manager had no input in it and couldn't ask the owners for more even if they thought you deserved it. It was literally a "teacher's pet" situation where the owners played favorites and would pay those people while underpaying everybody else. Owners are involved in multiple lawsuits. This is common knowledge that is retrievable on the internet. You can't work from home at all, nomatter your position or title. For the QC people it makes sense because our job was hands on. But there is ZERO reason why customer service, quality, and IT couldn't work a hybrid schedule where they rotated people/days in the office. There are multiple men at this company who sexually harass female employees. Then the women complain or go to HR, nothing happens because those men are either "too valuable" to the company or have the owners' favor. This has apparently been happening for years and hasn't gotten any better. Some individuals also made their way into management by sleeping around with the higher ups, even if there were more qualified or deserving people within the company.

Pros

The best job ever. Manager is great. Coworkers are awesome. They give bonuses. Free lunches. No longer being micro management by former management.

Cons

No cons. Everything is good.

Pros

* good peers/ co-workers *decent pay *okay hours * company events (if your into that) * very nice holiday hours from Christmas to new years * sometime bonuses *company has a gym Most employee's are friendly, good workers, and cause no issues. I received average pay for my job title and I was happy with that. They did not trying to low ball me at all. It is your standard job with and 8.5 - 9 hour day depending on how long of a lunch you take. If you are in to Halloween and company events you would enjoy that here. You get a week off between Christmas and new years but if you want to get paid you must use 2 PTO day or sick days.

Cons

*Benefits like health insurance got worst every year. (higher deductible and cost more to have) * Manipulative with their employee's * Owners have some trust issues / not forgiving for mistake made *new vacation policy was not great *lots of gossip and drama/ Customer Service area can be a very toxic area *ZERO WFH When I started I liked the benefits and then they change with open enrollment to a higher cost and a higher deductible. Magnolia try's to be sneaky with some employee's in terms of "we are helping you with this and that" but then you find out they were forced to help you by law or it doesn't help you at all. Customer Service can be a very toxic place to work if you're not liked. They have a do as I say not a do as I do mentality. They will start drama and have backhanded complements all day The owner have trust issue with everyone. They must be CC on every email sent. They hate work from home. Pinches pennies where they shouldn't and then shovel out stacks of cash where they don't need to . Owner have very little respect for your time. They don't care if it's a Sunday afternoon. That is when they are working and you should be to if they call you with a question.
