Pros
- strong and motivated team - interesting and bright projects with hi-end VFX work - company uses agile LESS-like framework - friendly and comfortable environment, where empathy and helping each other is encouraged - no firm demarcation of duties. If you determined to master your skills in a certain area, you most likely will have a chance to do that kind of job (as long as it's present in current project) - most of responsibility for the artistic, technical decisions, and fitting deadlines lies on the shoulders of the artists - management tries to avoid toxic and destructive employees to keep working environment healthy, and trying to hire people who are able to listen and understand others and have good artistic senses and developed emotional intelligence.
Cons
- it's a hard place to work for ones, who is used to be guided by supervisor or manager, you'll certainly will have to learn a lot of new things and make decisions you'll have to take responsibility for. - a lot of overtimes, workers are encouraged to work overtime on their own (without being called out by management). this overtimes are not paid or praised because they are viewed as worker's voluntary deed to train one's skills or fit in dates. (Though it's frank to say, that overtimes in deadline period are paid) - it's hard place to work for introverts, you'll definitely have to interact with other team members a lot. - if you are loud brawler, troublemaker or toxic person, you won't fit in, no matter how skilful you are
