Pros

Good benefits, good pay. Lots of different avenues to grow and learn something new.

Cons

The company leadership repeatedly mentioned a "family" business. Everyone is important and we care about our employees. Honestly, I believed it for a while but then realized that statement was only true if your direct report believed and made it true with their actions. Long story short, I lost 3 family members in a rather short span of time. My work suffered. Spoke to management many times regarding what was happening in my personal life. It did affect my work... Within same month of my father in law died, I was put on a PIP. In Manheim words, " death warrant". They couldn't have cared less about my mental decline. There was never any suggestions or mentions of therapists at my disposal. Then they lied to me about getting my bonus. They called it a mistake in communication. I had a wonderful relationship with the CEO (Sandy Schwartz, at the time) of the company and I ended up having to get him involved to get what I was owned. I was awarded my bonus.

Pros

Flexible scheduling, and plenty of volunteer time, if you need extra money in your pocket - the ability to use your cell phone - have a lot of freedom without people looking over your back directly. But they're constantly scouring the lot watching. They call it policing the lot

Cons

Little room for advancement unless you are young - managers act like they're bi polar smile at you one minute and give you a dirty look the next - GM is very toxic and is a liar. Compensation is only slightly over minimum wage - company makes billions in profit - work outside in every weather condition, whether it's pouring rain and 5° or sunny and 100°
