Pros

Good benefits . I think that’s all.

Cons

Hostile work environment. Poor leadership and work/ life balance. Make sure to ask if you need to work on weekends. Manager was sending team messages at 1am. No clear direction of expectations and goals yet manager scheduled meeting with HR for demotion.

Pros

Working at Manscaped has been a truly great experience and easily the best job I’ve ever had. The company genuinely lives its values — not just in words, but in actions every day. People here are encouraged to bring their full selves to work, and individual experiences are truly valued and celebrated. It’s a place where you feel respected, supported, and proud to be part of the team.

Cons

The only “con,” if you can call it that, is that in a smaller company you have to be ready to jump in and help wherever needed. I personally love this because it really creates a team-first environment

It means a lot to hear that MANSCAPED® has been your best work experience and that our values show up in authentic, day-to-day moments. Creating an environment where people feel empowered to be themselves and where individuality is embraced is something we care deeply about. We appreciate the callout on regular check-ins, especially for newer teammates navigating remote life. Staying connected, even when we’re spread across the globe, is something we’re always working to strengthen. The People Team

Pros

It started out as a fun place to work but took a dark turn. They have (and had) the right people to make a great team, but leadership doesn’t seem to know how to utilize them. Everyone (from my vantage point) under leadership is collaborative and trying their best. However, they are accountable for outcomes with no real decision making power, leaving them stressed/burnt out.

Cons

This place is the definition of a toxic work environment: (very) poor leadership, highly disorganized, a lot of blame-shifting, tons of manipulation, minimal support, uneven work distribution, poor communication, gossipy, mentally draining, and ultimately a thankless job. Real concerns are dismissed with poorly-timed humor, which only fans the flames. There’s no synergy within the different departments, which is evident in the work. Their holiday policy and 401K “match” are laughable and their diversity is lacking, across the board. It feels like the leadership team is more focused on self-preservation than actually making changes that could benefit the company. Every employee I've seen speak up has been laid off, despite having valid points that could improve the environment. Their process of weeding people out seems flawed and detrimental to the success of the brand. It’s a shame that so much good talent has come and gone throughout the years. The cherry on top is that your career will not advance from working here. This place values obedience over creativity. Despite having talented people, leadership’s chokehold on virtually everything hinders the brand’s development and success. This job is merely a paycheck, nothing more.

Thanks for speaking honestly about your experience; we’re taking notes. You’re right — we’re a ball trimming company, but that doesn’t stop us from trying to make work here fun, collaborative, and a place where people can do their best without taking themselves too seriously. We want to highlight that we have an open-door policy and highly encourage you to speak directly with your manager or HR regarding the concerns raised in this review. Our ears are always open to listening so we can find solutions together. We ‘ve also launched our quarterly Ask Me Anything program which provides employees with the opportunity to ask our executive leaders questions about the business. Honest feedback like this helps us identify areas for improvement and ensures we continue strengthening our culture and support for our people. The People Team
