Pros
- Colleagues are very friendly and helpful. They treat everyone as family. - Great for people who are fresh graduates looking for career progression or people who are switching careers. - Not to far away from MRT. - Not much of politics for my department. - They encourage employees to go for trainings to upgrade themselves. - The management don't micromanage people.
Cons
- The employee benefits are very bare minimum. - The water and snacks in the pantry is bare minimum and sometimes people do steal drinks from other colleauges. - During the covid period, the company was quite badly hit by circuit breaker and they forced all employees to deduct their 15 days of annual leave and medical leave without seeking approval from the employees. Of course people were unhappy but none dared to raise the issue to MOM as most of them were on work pass and didn't want to lose their jobs. - The company has a wide diversity of different races, especially the warehouse and production staffs. But the staff managing the Singapore business are mostly chinese. - You only get to be promoted if you 'suck up' to the management.
