· Flexible schedule, only a maximum of 4 days a week. Fridays are off 95% of the time unless there are department or school wide events.
• Base rate is pretty good relative to most private schools. Research honorariums and extra summer roles are also quite lucrative.
• Coordinators (at least the ones from my department and cluster) are patient and allows people to make mistakes as they grow.
Cons
• Promotion to regular status takes 3 years.
• When promoted, there is not a good enough raise to your basic salary. The benefits are also quite weak, HMO is almost just for formality with how little it can cover for you.
